Hummmm... Délicieux.

Recettes
Creamy Nutella Cheesecake
(Makes 12 slices)
Crust:
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/3 cup margrine, melted
1/3 cup granulated sugar
Filling:
2 8 ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup Nutella
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
For Crust: In a small bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs,
melted margrine, and sugar. Into 8 1/2 inch springform pan, press
crust mixture across bottom and 1 1/2 inches up sides. Set aside.
For Filling: With electric mixer on medium, beat cream cheese and
sugar until smooth. Pour into prepared crust and chill at least
four hours. Run sharp knife around edge to loosen before serving.
Some-Mores
Spread one graham cracker with 2 teaspoons nutella and one
graham cracker with one tablespoon marchmallow creme. Put crackers
together to form sandwich.
The other recipes are more like suggestions, like mixing the Nutella
with peanutbutter (equal proportions) and putting it on apple slices
and chilling. And putting a tablespoon of Nutella on a warm Belgian
Waffle (ONLY ONE TABLESPOON?? NO WAY!!) and the add one teaspoon of
seedless raspberry jam. They also show Nutella on coisants and
raisen bread in the picture. I better stop talking about all this
stuff before I decide to skip class and run home for some chocolate!
(It's finals week for me here since we're on the module system, so
this would not be a good thing to do *sigh*)
Easy Nutella Ice Cream Cups
1 pint chocolate ice cream, softened until
spreadable but not melted
1 cup nutella
2 pints coffee ice cream, softened until
spreadable but not melted
8 whole toasted peeled hazelnuts
Have ready 8 ramekins with a 5 to 6 oz capacity. Spread 1/4 cup chocolate
ice cream in the bottom of each ramekin. Drizzle 2 tsp nutella evenly over
the chocolate ice cream. Spread 1/2 cup coffee ice cream in each ramekin.
Smooth the top. Freeze the ramekins until the coffee ice cream is firm,
about 30 minutes. Removing only 4 ramekins from the freezer at a time,
spread a smooth layer of nutella over the coffee ice cream. Place a
hazelnut in the center of each filled ramekin. Freeze the ramekins just
until the topping is firm, about 15 minutes. Serve.
TO FREEZE AHEAD: Wrap each ramekin tightly with plastic wrap. Gently
press heavy aluminum foil around each ramekin. Label with date and
contents. Freeze up to 2 weeks.
TO SERVE: Unwrap the ramekins and let sit at room temperature 5 to 10
minutes to soften the ice cream slightly.
Liquid Nutella
I went to my favorite bar the other night (Shout's in Redwood City, CA for the locals), and
asked my favorite bartender (Stress) to make me a drink that involved Godiva liqueur. He
came up with what I could only define as liquid Nutella. What's it made of? Glad you asked.
Take one (1) highball glass.
Fill with ice.
Pour Godiva liqueur in to the halfway point.
Add hazelnut liqueur until it reaches the three-quarter mark.
Add a splash of cola.
Add a splash of half-and-half.
Pour into mixing cup.
Pour back into highball glass.
Repeat once more to ensure the mix.
Serve.
It was heavenly. You can adjust all to taste, of course. It doesn't look like Nutella, but it sure tastes like it!

Today the world celebrates the marriage by eating Nutella, a chocolate-hazelnut spread that has become something of a mania in Italy, where children use it as frequently as
we use peanut butter, and that has caught on in the United States, too. The brothers Ferrero began making the spread immediately after the Second World War, probably
in response to renewed shortages of cocoa solids: the kilogram loaves in which Nutella was originally sold cost a quarter as much as the same weight of chocolate. Ferrero
also had great success with its gold-wrapped chopped-hazelnut-and-chocolate "rock" (Rocher), similar to the famous silver-wrapped "kisses" (Baci) from the rival company
Perugina. (Nothing, to my mind, rivals the star-strewn charm of the Baci wrapper, which encloses little sentimental messages in the spirit of those on pastel-colored candy
hearts.) Ferrero says that today worldwide sales of Nutella exceed those of all brands of peanut butter combined, which to me seems only natural. Mars, unsurprisingly, has
begun selling its own hazelnut-chocolate spread, named for its Milky Way bar; the dense brown-and-white cream comes striated.
